YEMI ALADE GIVES $1,000 TO #TAKINGOVERME DESIGN CONTEST WINNER

Over the weekend Nigerian singer Yemi Alade took over Instagram with her #TakingOverMe design competition as part of the campaign for her latest single “Taking Over Me” which features Phyno.
The social media hosted contest which ended on the 4th of February 2015 received over 100 design entries from graphic designers and fans across the globe and a winner emerged. The winner was announced by the “King Of Queens” diva and was summoned to collect his cash prize of $1,000. The winner’s Instagram’s account is @scaezar and his entry which was a pencil sketch design gained over 4,452 likes as at the time of review.
Yemi Alade posted a photo on Instagram of herself, her manager Taiye Aliyu and the winner Segun Caesar collecting his money with the caption;
‘Our darling @scaezar is $1000 richer… shout out to EFFYZZIE for making this possible! !!!!

Gov fashola made it to olamide babys naming ceremony

Rapper Olamide Adedeji’s popularly referred to as Olamide held his son’s naming ceremony today and the latest father in town was all smiles.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola was a special guest at the ceremony as well as some of his colleagues in the music industry.

Olamide had previously revealed the names of his son to be Batifeori Maximiliano Adedeji and he has also changed his Instagram handle to ‘Daddy Milano’.

Africa Cup of Nations: Semi-final was 'war zone', says Ghana FA

The Africa Cup of Nations semi-final between Ghana and hosts Equatorial Guinea was described as a "war zone" after play was suspended for more than 30 minutes because of crowd trouble.

Players ducked bottles thrown from the stands, Ghana fans sought safety behind a goal, riot police used tear gas and a helicopter hovered over the stadium.
"It's now like a war zone," the Ghana Football Association (GFA) tweeted, claiming "barbaric acts of vandalism" while its president told the BBC it was lucky no-one was killed.
When play resumed, Ghana sealed a 3-0 win to reach Sunday's final, where they will play Ivory Coast, who beat DR Congo 3-1 on Wednesday.
GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi blamed Equatorial Guinea supporters for "unprovoked violent attacks" inside the stadium.

The Ghana FA tweeted as the action unfolded

"We are lucky that we haven't lost any lives, though people have sustained various degrees of injuries arising from objects thrown at them," he told BBC World Service.
Trouble flared at half-time between Ghana and Equatorial Guinea.
Ghana players had to be protected by riot police using plastic shields as they left the field, already 2-0 up in the tie.
The second half was then halted eight minutes from time when Ghana supporters sought sanctuary on the field after coming under attack.

TY Bello’s delivery was a huge celebration for her and her husband because they had been married for 9 years without a child.

The twins are blessed to have Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s wife, Ibidun, as their godmother.
